What if I need to cancel my appointment?
We understand that life happens and plans change. We will happily help you cancel or reschedule your appointment with a 48 hour notice. If you cancel your appointment within 48 hours, you will be charged a cancellation fee of 50% of your service total. If you no-show your appointment, you will be charged 100% of your service total. There are no exceptions to this policy.
What if I'm running late for my appointment?
In the event that you are running late, please try to give us a call at (206) 933-3002 to give us a heads up. Your services may need to be altered to fit your original appointment time. If your appointment needs to be altered due to tardiness, you will still be charged for your original services. There are no exceptions to this policy.
Why is my card required to book an appointment?
We require a card to be saved on file at all times if you are receiving services at our skincare studio. The only time your card on file will be charged is in the event that you cancel within 48 hours or no-show your appointment.
Do I need to do anything to prepare for my appointment?
Before attending your appointment, please be sure to sign all relevant appointment contracts that are sent via email and read our skincare studio policies thoroughly. For most hair removal and holistic facial services we do recommend avoiding retinol and other active ingredients for 72 hours prior to your appointment. What if my spa appointment is before the store opens?
Please note that our spa hours may vary from our retail store hours. If you have an appointment outside of our retail hours, your esthetician will let you in at the time of your appointment.
Retail + Shipping + Returns
What is the return policy for products at Spruce Apothecary?
All sales are final. In an effort to reduce waste and keep our growing retail business as sustainable as possible, we do not accept returns.
The only exception to this policy is if you have a poor skin reaction to something recommended by our team. In the event that you have a reaction we require a consultation within 14 days with your esthetician to evaluate your skin and they make an exchange at their discretion.
How long will it take to get my online order?
Orders with the Economy Shipping Rate typically take 5-8 business days to receive while orders with the Standard Shipping Rate typically take 3-4 business days to receive.
Please note: We ship with USPS. Therefore, any orders placed over the weekend will not be shipped out until the following Monday.
How do I send a digital gift card to someone?
When purchasing one of our digital gift cards we recommend putting the recipient's email address at checkout so that the digital gift card will be sent to them directly, or you can simply forward your confirmation email to the recipient. All they need to redeem their gift is the 16 digit code included in the email.
